Almost Perfect

 My patio rose, bought for me many years ago as a Mothers Day  gift, looks almost perfect dosn't it, but like most of us not quite.

 This is my first attempt at box shaping, can you tell it's a heart shape dedicated to my lovely man.

And this is my little angel door.

And my "Lady of the wind" anemone japonica whirlwind. She dosn't appear until the end of summer, already I can feel the Autumn returning, my favourite season, but I'm sad to watch the summer fade. The birds are getting busier too after their summer rest. I'v just spent an hour in my garden pruning snipping and tidying,  soaking in the sun, listening to the bird calls the drone of the by-planes which remind me of chilhood summers. Such peace I find here.
