HOW NOT TO STRING ONIONSThis is my first attempt at growing onions, they where easy to grow and they kept the slugs off my veggie patch so they were worth it just for that.
Well! I thought , all those onions, what am I going to do with them, so of course I went ontinternet and googled how to string them. The instructions seemed easy enough, take your first onion, make it a good strong one, take a second lay it along side the first, wrap the stalk around the first onion, bring the second stalk up and over itself in a full 360 turn and tuck it under joining the stalk to the first stalk and carry on joining the onions this way till you feel you have a big enough string tie some twine around it and hang it to store!!!!!!!!!!
Mine don't look like the instructions did....they are good to eat though.
