I have just successfully started a blog. All I need now is the time to keep it up to date. I semi retired two years ago, I thought life would be boring but no! I'm so busy I don't know how I found the time to work.
I am a dressmaker, I specialise in "special" dresses, wedding, bridesmaid, ball gowns, up to the minute fashions. I make hand crafted cards with verses inspired by my Christian faith.
I have also started my first attempt at gardening. It was a bit scary at first but each time something pops it's head out of the soil I praise God at how wonderful it all is. I have tried to be as "organic" as I can and have all these lush leaves but often wonder is there any veg under there.Watch this space as they say. The raspberries are getting bigger and the blueberries are abundant, the strawberries well there is a few. Next year I am going to grow them in hanging baskets. My new husband, yes I am newly wed after being widowed at 50 something, bought me a green house in which I planted tomatoes cucumbers and melons.
Each night,as it goes dark,we go on the hunt for SLUGS. Little blighters, they won't leave the runner beans alone. would appreciate advise on how to deal with these.
Bye for now.
